Shu Huaguo, founder of Xiaogan Adhesive Tape, set up the first private production enterprise of insulating tape in China. He rented the workshop of No. 2 Rubber Factory in Xiaogan City to produce "Tianxian Brand" insulating tape (also known as black rubber tape). The factory is located in Yanqiao Village of Xiaogan City.

Shu Huaguo and Shu xinguo, Shu jianguo and Pan Zhengxiang established Xiaogan Zhongnan Rubber Factory in partnership, rented the auditorium of Xiaogan Diesel Engine Factory (located in the construction road of Xiaogan City today) to produce insulating tape.

Xiaogan Zhongnan Rubber Factory is separated. Shu huaguo and Shuxinguo set up Xiaogan Shushi Adhesive Belt Co., Ltd. to purchase Huangpi intersection land in Xiaogan City (today's Wanshida Hotel) and build their own factory. The products are also expanded from single insulating tape to PVC electrical tape and high-voltage rubber tape.

Xiaogan Shushi Group was established, and in 2003, 150 mu of land was expropriated to expand the production scale, introducing modern production line, the company gradually developed into Xiaogan City scale enterprises.

Shu huaguo withdraws from Xiaogan Shushi Group and expropriates 123.8 mu of land on Yongan Avenue in Xiaogan City in November 2012. It builds Wanshida Tape (Hubei) Co., Ltd. to produce series of products such as automotive micelle tape, PVC electrical tape and high-pressure rubber tape. Wanshida tape has rapidly become one of the major brands in the domestic tape industry.
